What You'll Do/Need

Bedrock Tenant Relations Team

Tenant Relations serves as the liaison between Bedrock and its 330+ retail and office tenants. They make sure each and every tenant has all of the tools they need to thrive in downtown Detroit by working with tenants through the leasing and move-in process. The team is available to tenants by assisting with events, promotions, networking opportunities security, signage, parking, and connecting them the Family of Companies network. Internally, the team acts as an in house concierge and provides support for various events and teams.

 

Job Summary

The Tenant Relations Retail Intern will assist in communication, coordination, and organization on all levels of the development and success of our tenants throughout the Bedrock portfolio.  

Essential Functions

  • Assist as a project coordinator for numerous tenant needs and assignments
  • Assist Retail Associate with executing onboarding/orientation process for all new tenants
  • Assist with organizing, planning, and executing tenant events start to finish
  • Be available to visit, support, work with tenants outside of normal business hours
  • Assist with maintaining and updating tenant list; including all details of location, hours, etc. for current and upcoming tenants
  • Act as a resource and liaison for tenants
  • Utilize creative vision in order to develop ideas for events 
  • Assist with marketing and promotion strategies to assigned tenant portfolio
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining tenant information
  • Assist with working directly with Property Management team and maintain constant communication on tenant requests and improvements
  • Assist with research on current and upcoming tenants
  • Meet with Leasing, Marketing, Communications and Property Managements teams on a frequent basis to act as advisor and voice for tenants
  • Assist with special events and Tenant Relations master calendar
  • Assist with coordinating vendor pop-ups in Bedrock buildings
  • Network to maintain strong relationships with tenants
  • Propose opportunities to tie threads

 

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional role
  • A vast degree of creativity and latitude expected
  • Ability to anticipate tasks, prioritize, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to represent Bedrock in the most professional and reputable manner, which includes living up to our vision and mission and the Bedrock Core Values.
  • Ability to work above 40 hours per week
