The Team

The Development Team is the hub for all spokes involved with the Bedrock’s new development and reuse projects. They work with teams across Bedrock to envision a new use for a property, establish a schedule for execution, secure approvals, make program decisions, and support everything up until property opening. Projects like the Monroe Blocks often involve public/private partnerships including projects built on City-owned property that involve unique milestones and negotiations with our friends at the City and quasi-City groups like the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC). These projects also often involve joint venture partners, like at City Modern, and the Development Team works with those partners to move projects forward.
