What You'll Do/Need

As a Mortgage Banking Development Program Intern, you’ll gain real world professional experience while working towards your Federal Mortgage License by completing our training courses. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the mortgage industry and what it takes to become a licensed Mortgage Banker here at Quicken Loans. After your internship is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to work remotely when you return to school to complete seven to eight state licensing exams. When you graduate, you’ll return to Quicken Loans as a full time Mortgage Banker! This internship enables you to bypass the three to six month training period that all new Mortgage Bankers are required to complete.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Attend training classes to help prepare for the Federal Mortgage Licensing Exam (SAFE)
  • Pass the SAFE exam
  • Assist Senior Directors of Mortgage Banking with day-to-day tasks
  • Work with realtors to gain additional information for our Banking Team
  • Return to school and take state licensing exams as a remote team member
  • After graduation, return to Quicken Loans as a full time Mortgage Banker

 

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak to a wide range of people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a competitive spirit
  • Strong time management and project management skills
